Shop opening in Hallstatt

Gmundner Keramik has a new store in Hallstatt, Upper Austria, which opened in September. After securing prime locations in Vienna and Salzburg, the heritage brand is now expanding to a new hotspot in the Salzkammergut Lake District. Situated in the heart of the world-famous Marktplatz, the shop invites locals and tourists visiting the historic town to browse the entire range of the Austrian ceramic manufacturer and buy high-quality unique pieces. The store in Hallstatt will be open year-round.

                         

Launched in mid-September, the new Gmundner Keramik store in the middle of Hallstatt’s main square is hard to miss. Here you will find the entire range of handmade, unique items from the Gmundner manufactory, displayed over 55 m2 of retail space. The products on offer range from well-known designs such as Flamed, in green, red, grey, blue and yellow, to special editions such as the new Hearts Grey. „Gmundner Keramik is a company with heritage. We are therefore particularly pleased that we are now able to offer our unique pieces in the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt,”says Bernhard Kletzmair, Managing Director of Gmundner Keramik.

 

Opening ceremony for new store

On Thursday, 26 September, municipal representatives and local merchants stopped by for a small store opening launch drink. Mayor Alexander Scheutz said: “Gmunden Keramik’s one-of-a-kind piecesare as unique as Hallstatt. The new store will be open all year round and thus contribute to the revitalisation of our historic region.” Guests attending the launch were joined by shop manager Ute Lutz, the store’s two sales assistants Julia Gamsjäger and Eva-Maria Scheutz and the managing director of Gmundner Keramik, Bernhard Kletzmair. Kathi Wörndl also travelled to Hallstatt especially for the event.
