Visitors with walking difficulties

Our manufactory tour includes many steps that have to be ascended or descended. We therefore ask any visitors with walking difficulties planning to participate in the tour to notify us in advance of their arrival for organisational reasons.

For our visitors in wheelchairs, we offer an alternative cinema presentation in our studio on request.

Our manufactory shops, the Atelier Café and our Paint Your Own Ceramics workshop have step-free access.

Directions and parking

There are adequate parking spaces for cars and buses in the Gmundner Keramik manufactory’s car park.

After deciding to go on a bad weather day, the 60 minutes proved an interesting experience. Perhaps because of the young lady conducting the tour was quite lively and made quite an impression in passing on her extensive knowledge while demonstrating the various painting techniques. The women employed there were very friendly.

The tour really fascinated me. It was exciting to see how much craftsmanship and attention to detail goes into each piece of Gmundner ceramics.

Fabulous! Excellent, well-presented and informative demonstration. Staff very nice. I can only recommend that everyone takes the tour so that they can learn what goes on behind the scenes.
