Founded in 1492, Gmundner Keramik today is synonymous with the finest quality Austrian tableware. Its commitment to traditional craftsmanship ensures that each each piece is lovingly handmade and unique. All our products, including the distinctive Gmundner Keramik designs and smooth ceramic shapes, are 100% Made in Austria. Everything – from the blending of raw materials, to moulding, to painting – takes place at our manufactory in Gmunden, Upper Austria.
Each piece is unique
The exquisite craftsmanship of our artisans makes our products unique. At the manufactory in Gmunden, one-of-a-kind pieces are lovingly produced in series by around 130 employees, including a team of 40 painters, who craft each piece – a total of around 5,000 pieces a day – as a beautiful one-of-a-kind. The distinctive designs captivate with timeless elegance, bold colours on bright white and smooth ceramic shapes.

Visit our manufactory in Gmunden and experience centuries of artisan tradition and the dedication that goes into crafting each piece by hand. The guided tour, which takes you behind the scenes of the world famous ceramics producer, is offered is all year round and is suitable for all ages, including children.
